"Hollyhocks 3" Studio Art Quilt by Sue Holdaway-Heys
Sue Holdaway-Heys is a professional quilt artist from Ann Arbor MI. Her work has been shown in AQS, IQA, Visions: The Art Of the Quilt (1992), Visions: Quilt Expressions (1998) and many other prestigious shows. She has won many awards including the American Quilt Society Show, The Ella Sharpe Museum, and The Ann Arbor Art Center. Her work is represented in many public and private collections including a doll in the White House collection. Sue's work has been published many times. Sue has donated the above art quilt, "Hollyhocks 3", to the Academy auction.
LeSueur ClayWork
Local potter Kathleen LeSueur is widely recognized for the flair and craftsmanship of her work. She has applied a variety of glazes and finishes to achieve the effect you see in this piece, available at our auction this year.

This fairy house, created by Cynthia Karageanes of Fairy Trails, is a one of a kind sculpture. It’s to be presented to fairies as a special gift. When a child or adult places a fairy house in their room, it becomes a magical location where they can exchange notes and gifts with the fey they wish to attract! This home is adorned with many beautiful pieces of handmade furniture. miniature items such as vanities, stoves, potion bottles, crystal balls, shells, dishes and so much more! The materials used in my fairy houses are mostly natural and found right here on walks in our beautiful Michigan forestry. They are heat-sterilized to prevent unwelcome tenants! UM Museum of Art Director's Tour
University of Michigan Museum of Art's Director Joseph Rosa will conduct a private tour of the museum for four. One of the largest university art museums in the USA, its collection of nearly 19,000 works spans cultures, eras, and media. The tour includes a lunch at the museum.
